         The M.Sc.Computer Science has been opened in this college from the session 2002-2003 with 16 seats under the Physics Department where H.O.D is  Mr.R.K.Mohanthy. At present students are engaged actively in their studies and other extra curricular activities.They have shown keen interest in the development of the Department in various aspects . The students of this Department brought success in the academic excellence, sports activities, cultural activities and other extra curricular activities.

A candidate for the M.Sc Computer Science degree under this regulation shall be required to be enrolled as a student of M.Sc Computer Science Department of Khallikote(Auto) college.No candidate shall be permitted to appear at the M.Sc Computer Science examination as a non-collegiate candidate.
No of seats

          M.Sc.Computer Science has 16 seats and some seats are reserved for SC-8%, ST-12%, Ex-serviceman1%, Oriyas living in Neighboring States(OLNS)-5%,Physically Handicapped(minimum 40% disability)-3%.
Fees
         It is a self  finance course and its fee is 20,000 per year.The sectional fees, examination fees and seminar fees as admissible shall be collected  separately at the time of admission from the student.
Duration of the Course

M.Sc in Computer Science course shall be spread over a period of two academic years consisting of 4 semesters. A student of M.Sc Computer Science course shall be required to pass all the 4 semesters in the manner hereafter specified to be eligible for the award of the degree.

Rule of the M.Sc Computer Science

I. Concurrent Admission and Appearance Prohibited 

            The student taking admission into M.Sc Computer Science can not permitted to pursue       another course concurrently and appear other examination till he completes M.Sc Computer Science.

II.Attendance

• In each semester a student shall be required to attend 75% of lecture classes and practical classes conducted by the department to be eligible to appear at the examination.Condontation may be granted only to the extent of 15% in exceptional cases by the principal on the recommendation of the HOD/Co-ordinator on satisfactory resaons.

• Astudent shall be eligible to appear at the semester examination unless he satisfies the required attendence.

• However the student will be allowed to attend the next higher semester class.

• A student has to pay Rs.180/- or Rs.300/- as the case may be (which is subject to change with out any prior notice) for each defaulting class and attend the same in order to make up 60% of attendance in any particular subject.  

• At the commencement of the semester a student has to pay the examination fee which is non-refundable. It shall be compulsory for all students of M.Sc Computer Science to fill semester examination forms, falling which he will not permitted to the next higher semester examination. However  on payment of Rs.500 fine and furnishing satisfactory explanations he will be permitted to attend the next higher semester.
